Request for Tender - Yass Reticulation Upgrade Construction

Description

Yass Valley Council is proposing to replace several sections of the existing watermains across Councils water supply network. This work aims to enhance operational efficiency, improve water quality and enable regular maintenance without affecting large number of customers at once.

The proposed work packages include:

  • Package A involves the installation of approximately 1,330m of 300mm diameter M-PVC watermain along Ford Street and Demestre Street together with three (3) cross connections along Yass Valley Way. This part of the works is to be complete withing FY26-27
  • Package B involves the installation of approximately 480m of 450mm diameter ductile iron watermain along Cooks Hill Rd and Orion St including the construction of a large concrete valve pit. This part of the works is to begin in July 2027
