Our Waste Transfer Stations will be closed on Saturday 26 September. All transfer stations will resume normal hours on Sunday 27 September. Thank you for your understanding.

Swimming Pools

The Yass Valley is home to two War Memorial swimming pools. Both pools cater for individual swimmers, school groups, clubs and squads.

Yass Pool will reopen on 12 October 2026.

Binalong Pool will reopen on 2 November 2026.

Season passes will be available to purchase from 21 September 2026. To purchase your season passes, please click here.

Applications for 2026/27 Council run swimming programs will open from 9 November. Please use the online portal to apply.

Binalong Memorial Swimming Pool

Stephens Street, Binalong 2584

The Binalong Memorial Swimming Pool is conveniently located on the main street of Binalong. The complex has three swimming pools, the main pool being 25 meters in length and the two smaller pools catering to toddlers and young children.

The Yass Pool complex has a 50-metre Olympic sized swimming pool as well as a small, shaded pool for toddlers and young children.
