Air quality tests show low risk to community after truck fire

We have been advised that, based on the air quality data reviewed by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) and NSW Health, the truck fire incident fire incident on Saturday 20 December involving lithium-ion batteries, poses a low risk to the local community and environment.

Boil Water Alert Lifted

NSW Health has advised Yass Valley Council that the Boil Water Alert issued for Yass, Murrumbateman, Binalong, and Bowning can now be lifted.

Blue Green Algae Red Alert Issued for Burrinjuck Dam Wall

On Display Indefinitely

WaterNSW has issued a red alert advisory for high levels of blue-green algae for Burrinjuck Dam at the dam wall. This red alert follows the sighting of an algal scum in the water near the Dam wall.
