Community Representatives:
Community representatives should have a strong understanding of the local community, demonstrate sound judgement and integrity, and be able to assess grant applications fairly, objectively and in the best interests of the community.
The Committee is responsible for administering the Community Enhancement Fund. Its responsibilities include determining the application process for funding, reviewing eligible applications against the objectives, eligibility requirements and assessment criteria of the Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) and the Community Enhancement Fund Guidelines, and recommending to Council which local projects should receive funding from the Community Enhancement Fund. Committee members are also required to operate in accordance with the Committee Charter and fulfil the responsibilities outlined in the VPA.
