Notice of Extraordinary Meeting

Yass Valley Council will hold an Extraordinary Meeting of Council on Wednesday, 12 November 2025 at 4pm. This meeting will consider the implementation of a community consultation process regarding a proposed Special Rate Variation (SRV) to secure the necessary funding to maintain current service levels and address essential infrastructure needs across the Yass Valley.

Community Spaces Closed for Renovations

Wee Jasper Public Toilet

Remaining funds from the Wee Jasper Reserve Carpark upgrade project under Round 5 of the Stronger Country Communities Fund have enabled Council to deliver an accessible toilet facility in Wee Jasper.

Construction will commence on Wednesday 1 October 2025 (weather permitting).

Works will include:

Replacement of the existing amenities building
Installation of accessible footpath and carpark
Installation of security lighting
