Design a Bookmark Competition
Welcome to the Yass Valley Library Design a Bookmark Competition!
To celebrate the opening of our community’s brand-new library, we invite all creative individuals to design a bookmark that will be available from our new library.
Five winners will be selected - one from each of the following age categories: 0-3 years old, 4-7 years old, 8-11 years old, 12-17 years old, and 18+ years old - so everyone can take part!
Winning designs will be printed as bookmarks and made available to the public, for free from Yass Valley Library. All winners will also receive a $30 Shop Local gift card.
Entries will be evaluated based on:
- Creativity: Imagination and use of design elements
- Originality: Uniqueness and distinctiveness of the artwork
- Artistic Merit: Overall aesthetic appeal and execution of the design
- Suitability: Graphic quality for printing as a bookmark.
To enter, simply collect a bookmark competition entry form from Yass Valley Library or the Mobile Library, or download a copy here.(PDF, 157KB)

Entries need to be in by 1pm on Saturday 1st November either by hand to the Library Customer Service Desk or by post (address in the T&C's). Winners will be notified by Friday 21 November 2025.
