Extraordinary Council Meeting - 14 October 2026
The extensive review of Council’s cash position, debt and infrastructure backlog over the past 12 months has confirmed that the current financial position is unsustainable and requires decisive action.
In response, an Extraordinary Meeting of Council will be held on 14 October 2026 to consider the options available.
The Business Paper for the Extraordinary Meeting will be published on 8 October 2026. Community members will have an opportunity to address the agenda item during the Open Forum, which will be held immediately before the meeting at 4.00 pm on 14 October 2026.
