Due to the weekend forecast high temps, Gundaroo waste transfer site will be closing early at 1pm. Saturday - Gundaroo - open 9am - 1pm. Yass and Murrumbateman open as normal. Sunday - all sites open as normal.
Beat the heat! With temps hitting the high 30's this weekend we are continuing to provide free entry to Yass and Binalong pools this Fri 30 and Sat 31 Jan. Children under 11 must be supervised by an adult and pool staff reserve the right to refuse entry if pool capacity has been reached. Open: Yass 10am-7.30pm; Binalong 1-7.30pm. Normal conditions of entry apply. Head on down and beat the heat!

2024-25 Annual Financial Statements
The draft Financial Statements for the year ended 30 June 2025 were reported to Council on the 25 September 2025. The Financial Statements have since been confirmed with the finalisation of the audit. The principal features of the Financial Statements for 2024/25 (with the prior year comparison) outlined in accordance with the prescribed form to be provided pursuant to section 418 (3)(b) of the Local Government Act 1993, are as follows:
