2026 NAIDOC Week in Yass Valley
Yass Valley Council is proud to support the 2026 NAIDOC Week Program in Yass Valley, presented by Onerwal Local Aboriginal Land Council.
Celebrating this year's NAIDOC Week theme, "50 Years of Deadly," the program features a range of free activities and events that invite the whole community to come together to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and achievements.
Activities throughout the week include Storytime with Elders, Art and Weaving Workshops, Native Plant and Language Workshops, the Onerwal NAIDOC Movie Night, and the NAIDOC Market Day.
Council encourages residents and visitors to take part in this special week of events, connect with community, and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Yass Valley.
