Call for community members to join advisory committees
Council is looking for community members to join their advisory committees on a number of key community issues, from economic growth and sporting facilities to access & age friendly initiatives and First Nations.
These roles would suit active community members who like to participate in discussion on local issues, can constructively report views of the local community, are able to give feedback from meetings to the wider community and can suggest improvements and put forward ideas.
Does this sound like you – or someone you know?
The Advisory Committees have been established by Council to harness the views and expertise of the wider community and help Council in its understanding of local issues, initiatives or community assets.
Advisory Committees provide a mechanism by which interested residents and experts can play an active role in the formulation of Council policy, direction and practice.
