The Bookham Recreation Ground is located just off the Hume Highway and is a regular place of rest for travellers as well as locals.
Over the summer months the grounds play host to cricket teams within the Yass Valley and abroad.
It also houses the Bookham Hall in addition to the sporting oval, tennis courts and a swing for the kids.
