Mayoral Minutes

  • Cost shifting onto Local Government (an appeal to NSW Govt to reduce burden)
  • Composition of the CEO’s Performance Review Panel
  • Advocacy to retain the Yass Fire & Rescue CT511 vehicle (our compressed air foam system 4WD truck is planned to be transferred to Cootamundra).

  • Assessment report for the Distribution Battery Energy Storage System at 3 Turton Place, Murrumbateman
Reports to Council:
  • Outline of all the Renewable Energy Projects in Yass Valley
  • State of Yass Valley Report - report on Council’s progress implementing the Community Strategic Plan for 2022-2024
  • Delegates for the Local Government NSW Annual Conference 2025
  • 2025/2026 Fees and Charges – admin amendments (particularly for pool and food businesses).
  • Remaking of Yass Valley Council Code of Meeting Practice
Motions with Notice
  • Trees - motion to stop all Council tree removals until the Climate Change Action Plan and Tree Management Policy is approved.
  • Stage 2 Crago Mill Precinct – motion to cease Stage 2 work until a review is completed.
