Murrumbateman Recreation Grounds is a regional hub for community sport, community activities and special events. More than 100 sporting & community activities are conducted throughout the year and currently there is only a very small public toilet building for the whole site.

The new multipurpose facility will deliver amenities that have been universally designed to be accessible, inclusive, and multi-functional. The facility includes multipurpose sporting change rooms, male and female toilets, disabled toilet, multipurpose referee room, storage facilities, kitchen/canteen facilities, covered accessible veranda areas for safely viewing sport and connectivity/ shared facilities to support other surrounding services.
