Notice of Priority Weeds Spraying Program

Yass Valley Council is undertaking control of the following priority weeds in these locations across the Local Government Area over the next week or so.

African Lovegrass

  • Mountain Creek Road
  • Yass River Road
  • Lachlan Valley Way
  • Burley Griffin Way
  • Murrumbateman Road
  • Gundaroo Road/ Sutton Road
  • Yass Valley Way

Serrated Tussock  

  • Yass Valley Way
  • Yass River Road
  • Intersection Yass Valley Way / Dog Trap Road
  • Gundaroo Road/ Sutton Road
  • YVC owned land (Coolalie Road)

Chilean Needle Grass

  • Sutton Road
  • Shingle Hill Way
  • Wee Jasper Road
  • Tallagandra Lane
  • Noyce’s Lane
  • Dog Trap Road
  • Long Rail Gully Road
  • Wargeila Road

Herbicides used for the control of these priority weeds will be Flupropronate (Taskforce, Kennock) and Glyphosate (roundup).
