Council meeting briefs - Wednesday, 21 September

Draft South-East & Tablelands Regional Plan 2041

Council will provide a submission to the Department of Planning & Environment on the draft South-East & Tablelands Regional Plan 2041, highlighting the need to finalise a sub-regional water strategy and discourage speculative development adjacent to the NSW/ACT border.

Bookham Main Street Masterplan

The Bookham Main Street Masterplan was adopted following extensive community consultation.

December 2022 Meeting Date

Council’s meeting in December 2022 will be moved to Wednesday, 14 December to avoid a clash with the Yass Valley Community Christmas Parade and Night Markets.

Petition - Residential Subdivision - 1B Rosamel Street, Gundaroo

A petition opposing the residential subdivision at 1B Rosamel Street, Gundaroo was tabled. The issues raised in the petition will be considered as part of the assessment of this DA and included in a future report to Council.
