Browse Aloud - Making Websites Talk

Yass Valley Council has implemented software called BrowseAloud on this website, which will read the website aloud. BrowseAloud is designed to improve access to information and services on websites for people who find it difficult to read online content.

The BrowseAloud icon will appear in the top right hand corner of the screen. BrowseAloud enables the text to be read aloud and simultaneously highlighted. You can choose to listen to particular sections of text, or the entire page from where your cursor is pointed. BrowseAloud also provides other features such as screen magnification.
