Murrumbateman Winery Trail

Project overview

The Murrumbateman Winery Trail is a 14km loop that will pass eight Wineries around the Murrumbateman village. The loop will be a shared walking and cycling path made up of asphalt and concrete.

The path will be using current existing paths as well as creating new paths or extensions off the road where the path may not be able to fit on the road reserve due to difficult topography.

A concept design of the proposed trail can be viewed here.

Project updates & community information

Complete Civil has made great progress over the last few weeks. A large section of the pathway from the existing concrete works at the recreation ground and along Murrumbateman Road has now been asphalted. Works are continuing in this area and along Crisps Lane.

Work has commenced on McIntosh Circuit, just past Acacia Drive, and will continue down to Scrubby Lane. The last section of Hercules Street will also be undertaken over the next few weeks. There will be a mixture of concrete and asphalt pathways constructed depending on the location.

Complete Civil will be directly contacting those residents/businesses who may be affected along the way.
