PROPOSED LEASE AGREEMENT - YASS MEMORIAL SWIMMING POOL 7 LAIDLAW STREET, YASS BEING PART OF LOT 1 DP 1134940
In accordance with Section 46 & 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, Yass Valley Council hereby gives public notice of a resolution dated 27 July 2023 (MN 2023/146) to consider issuing a lease, and associated construction licence, for the construction and management of an indoor heated swimming pool and management of the current swimming pool at the Yass Memorial Swimming Pool site.
Address of Land: 7 Laidlaw Street, Yass – Lot 1 DP 1134940 (Crown Land under Council Control CN 530056)
Purpose of Lease: Lease for Exclusive Management/Operation of the redeveloped Yass Swimming Pool Complex for Business Purposes: Recreation Facility (indoor) and ancillary retail premises and café
Term of Lease: maximum 21 years

All interested persons are hereby invited to make submissions concerning the proposal to the Chief Executive Officer, Yass Valley Council, PO Box 6 Yass NSW 2582, within twenty-eight (28) days of the date of this notice.
Please note that under the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, such submissions may be referred to third parties for consideration.
Please Note: If any objection is raised during the public notice period, the proposal will be returned to Council for consideration and a request made to the Minister for approval.
