Yass Valley Council's Planning and Development Services is responsible for ensuring that development within the Yass Valley complies with relevant legislation and is assessed against potential environmental impacts.
A Development Application (DA) may be required for certain uses, development, demolition, carrying out works or subdivision.
The NSW Exempt and Complying Development, identifies certain development types that may not require a DA.
