Yass Valley Development Corporation

The Yass Valley Development Corporation (YVDC) was formed to promote the attributes and benefits of Yass Valley.   This objective is very much aligned to the Yass Valley vision of creating "A diverse rural region that provides lifestyle, business and recreation choices, while sustaining our environment, history and community".

The YVDC’s areas of promotion responsibility are:

Tourism

• Visitor Services
• Events
• Promotion

Economic Development

• Promotion of Industry Development
• Promotion of Work and Lifestyle

• Promotion of BEC Services
• Chamber of Commerce

• Promote Benefits
• Promote Activities 

Regular reporting and review of the outcomes will be communicated to the community, Council and YVDC Members.

Becoming a Member of the Yass Valley Development Corporation

Membership of the YVDC ensures that the continued support of economic and tourism development within the Yass Valley.

Membership also provides you with an important avenue for input into the development of policies relating to marketing, tourism and many other areas of economic development within the Yass Valley.  As a member you are also entitled to nominate for election onto the YVDC Board of Directors.
