School Holiday Activities It is not too late to book in for our school holiday activities. Bookings for these activities can be made by calling the Yass Library on 6226 1305 or in person at the Library. Bedtime Storytime Bedtime Storytime is being held on Thursday 8th October from 6pm to 7pm. Join us for teddy bear stories, craft and rhyme. Wear your pyjamas and don't forget your teddy. This activity is free, but bookings are required. Geronimo Stilton Party Readers of Geronimo Stilton are invited to our Geronimo Stilton Party on Friday 9th October from 10.30am to 11.30am. This activity is $5 per child and is for ages 7+. There will be cheese tasting, craft and books to borrow. Participants are encouraged to bring their library card with them. Bookings required. School Holiday Reading Battle Boy by Charlie Carter If you enjoyed the Zac Power series then you are sure to love the Battle Boy books. The Library has purchased the first two titles in this gripping, dramatic and completely engrossing new series - designed to engage reluctant readers (high interest, low-level reading), and anyone interested in battles, history, time travel, adventure, great stories, gadgets galore... Plucked from a boring Saturday morning in the library, Napoleon is invited to join a secret project that keeps an eye on the big battles of history. With wisecracking robots and cool gadgets, why not join Napoleon on his adventures through time and space?! Other Activities This MonthTwilight Party...to die for! Thursday 15th October 6pm to 8pm Have you been bitten by the Twilight phenomena? Then join us at Yass Library as we celebrate all things Twilight on Thursday 15th October 6pm to 8pm. This activity will cost $5 per person and there will be Twilight trivia, Twilight craft, food & drink. Come dressed in red and black or as your favourite Twlight character. Bookings essential! BookMania Our kids club for primary school students in Years 3 to 6 is held on the last Thursday of every month from 4pm to 5pm. This month it is being held on Thursday 29th October.
