Library Chit Chat - 30 September 2009

October @ Yass Library

We have a very busy month planned with lots of things happening at your local library. Don't miss the great school holiday activities that we have planned.

Book Club

Thursday 1st October
6pm to 7pm
Bellydancing for Beginners is the book for this month. New members always welcome.

Thursday 8th October
5pm to 7pm
For novices and masters - all welcome. BYO chess set (the Library has a couple of sets available).

Thursday 8th October
6pm to 7pm
Free

Join us for teddy bear stories, craft and rhyme. Wear your PJs and don't forget your teddy. Bookings required.

Friday 9th October
10.30am to 11.30am
$5 per child
For ages 7+

Readers of Geronimo Stilton are invited to our Geronimo Stilton Party. There will be cheese tasting, craft and books to borrow. Participants are encouraged to bring their library card with them. Bookings required.

Thursday 15th October 6pm to 8pm
Have you been bitten by the Twilight phenomena? Then join us at Yass Library as we celebrate all things Twilight.
$5 per person

There will be...Twilight Trivia, Twilight Craft, Food & Drink. Come dressed in red and black or as your favourite Twlight character. Bookings essential!

This is our kids club for primary school students in Years 3 to 6.

Bookings for these activities can be made by calling the Yass Library on 6226 1305 or in person at the Library.
