75,000 Loans – Can We Do It? Yes We Can!
With a week to go until the end of the financial year we have already reached our target of 75,000 loans. This means that Yass Library will have had an increase in loans by more than 10% this year. Thank you to everyone for helping us to reach this goal.
Special congratulations to the Fuller Family who borrowed our 75,000th item.
Little Animals in a Big World
The school holidays are fast approaching and to help entertain the kids we are having the CSIRO Green Machine visit the Library with their workshop ‘Little Animals in a Big World’. This workshop gives mini-students the opportunity to meet some mini-beasts and find out more about the big world of little critters.
This activity is for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and is being held on Tuesday 21st July from 10.30am to 11.45am. The cost will be $7.00 per child.
Make sure you book early as places are limited and bookings are essential. Payment must be made at the time of booking.
