75,000 Loans – Can We Do It?
Library Staff have set the challenge to reach 75,000 loans by the end of June. At the time of writing my Chit Chat (Friday morning) we were up to 73,943 loans and by the time you read this I think we will be very close to the 75,000 loans.
Remember, there is a prize for the person that borrows our 75,000th item. My suggestion would be to get to the Library quickly because we are very close!

The completed quiz should be handed back to Library Staff by the end of June. Mocktail Party This week is Drug Action Week and the theme message is – ‘Alcohol is a drug– TOO!’ The aim is to increase awareness about the harm caused by the misuse of alcohol and other drugs – with a focus on alcohol-related matters. Alcohol is the most commonly used drug in Australia and its misuse continues to cause significant harm and enormous cost to the community. Don’t miss Yass Library’s Mocktail Party being held on Thursday 25th June from 5pm to 6pm. Mocktails are non-alcoholic drinks and everyone aged 13 and over are invited to the Library to try some.Some Mocktail recipes to try: Cinderella
