Base Waste Levy: The purpose of this charge is to meet the costs of waste disposal and recycling activities of domestic and commercial garbage throughout the Council area, including development and rehabilitation of Landfill sites and subsidises the operating costs of Transfer Stations. Domestic and commercial rateable land incurs an annual base waste charge of $52.00
