The protection of the environment, and the public health and well-being of the residents of the Yass Valley Local Government Area is maintained by Council’s Environmental Health Officer’s who form part of the Planning & Environmental Services Division Team.

Council’s Environmental Health Officer’s ensure that all necessary approvals are obtained, mandatory inspections are carried out, and that current legislation is complied with in the following areas.
