Volunteering Opportunities

There are a number of volunteering opportunities within the Home Living Support Service.
Volunteers can be directly involved in assisting our clients. Volunteers drive clients to medical or other professional appointments, they assist clients on our mini bus on shopping trips or social outings, or volunteers can be involved in visiting individual clients at home to have a chat and a cuppa.
We are keen to recruit new volunteers from some of the outlying villages, particularly Murrumbateman and Binalong as we are receiving an increasing number of requests for assistance from clients living in these areas.
So if you have a little spare time and feel that you would like to assist aged or disabled members of your community we would love to hear from you! Training and on-going support are provided, and volunteers are reimbursed for any out-of-pocket expensed that may be incurred.
